For Carriers
Consistent volume. Quick pay. Real relationships with people who answer the phone. We treat carriers the way we wish brokers treated us.

That distinction changes the economics for both shipper and carrier. When the volume commitment is real, the lanes are defined, and the partnership is exclusive, carriers invest in service. That's how we get preferred pricing and priority capacity when the market tightens.

Frequently Asked
What owner-operators and fleet dispatchers ask before joining our network.
Standard pay terms are net 45 days, with 24-hour QuickPay available on eligible loads for carriers who need faster settlement. No factoring required. We use the same funding partner for both in-house carriers and brokered capacity.
Three steps. Fifteen minutes. First, complete your carrier packet through Highway (MC, DOT, W-9, insurance certificates). Second, Highway auto-verifies FMCSA authority and insurance alongside our internal vetting. Third, you are live and eligible for loads. All FreightPlus carriers are onboarded via Highway · no lengthy paperwork, no multi-week review cycles.
Standard requirements: $1M auto liability, $100K cargo coverage (higher for specific commodities), $1M general liability, and active workers compensation. We require direct certificate holder status on your COI. Reefer, hazmat, and high-value loads have additional endorsement requirements.
No. The majority of our volume comes from dedicated managed transportation relationships with middle-market shippers, which means consistent lanes, known customers, and predictable volume. Load boards are secondary. Carriers who build strong scorecards get preferred lane assignments.
An ELD is required for trucking authority. Beyond that, our carrier portal works on any smartphone or browser. We support Macropoint, Project44, Samsara, and LoadLock+ ELD integrations for automated tracking. No custom app install required. Rate confirmations are delivered securely through Highway with multi-factor authentication.
No. We actively partner with owner-operators, small fleets (2–10 trucks), and mid-size carriers. Our 10,000+ carrier network spans solo drivers to regional fleets with 200+ trucks. Service quality and safety scores matter more than fleet size.
We score carriers on on-time pickup, on-time delivery, communication responsiveness, claims ratio, and driver behavior. Top-scoring carriers receive preferred lane matching, higher-paying loads, and priority dispatch. Scores are transparent and updated in real time in the carrier portal.
